About this role

• Independently consults and collaborates with investigators on the design, conduct, and analysis of research projects which may include laboratory, interventional and observational studies.
• **Key Responsibilities** * Provides statistical expertise on the design of study case report forms and databases.
• * Responsible for statistical aspects of study design, including sample size calculations and randomization schemes.
• * Works with investigators and other statisticians to select appropriate statistical methods and to analyze data including identifying data inconsistencies from laboratory, interventional, and observational studies.
• * Demonstrates knowledge of and proficiency in working with standard statistical packages e.g., SAS, R, Stata, SPSS and learning other project specific software.
• * Code is accurate, efficient, well commented and organized.
• * Participates in meetings with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful completion of statistical deliverables.
• * Prepares statistical reports and collaborates with study team to prepare abstracts and manuscripts.
• * Understands the necessity to be responsive to and communicate effectively with colleagues and study team members whether by phone, email or in person.
• * Communicates appropriately, timely, and effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Able to understand the objectives of a study and ensure that the statistical design matches the overall goals of the study.
• **Minimum Qualifications** **Education:** * A Master's degree in Statistics or Biostatistics.
• Other quantitative fields (e.g., epidemiology, economics, data sciences) can be considered depending on coursework and experience.
• **Experience:** * 5 years of related experience.
