Mechanical Engineer

About this role

• We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our fast-paced lighting manufacturing team.
• This role focuses on designing and developing custom lighting products from concept through production.
• **Responsibilities** * Create and modify 3D models, sheet metal parts, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
• * Convert solid models to sheet metal parts and create solids from surfaces.
• * Use SolidWorks and DraftSight for design and drafting.
• * Collaborate with manufacturing and team members to develop custom products.
• * Assist with prototyping, product development, and other engineering tasks as needed.
• **Qualifications** * Proficiency in SolidWorks, especially sheet metal applications, and DraftSight.
• * Strong mechanical aptitude, artistic ability, and attention to detail.
• * Excellent communication, organization, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
• * Manufacturing experience preferred.
• * Basic electrical and wiring knowledge, along with prototyping experience, is a plus.
• **Position Requirements:** This is a full-time, on-site position.
• Candidates must be available to work in-house.
