• About the Role Manages and oversees all Cage and Count activities and employees while ensuring regulatory compliance and positive gaming experiences for guests Providing superior guest service positively affects interactions with guests and employees and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
• Deal with high-volume customer interactions and be consistently outgoing, upbeat, and cheerful.
• Delegate authority and assign responsibilities and work schedules to department staff.
• Provide hands-on leadership to Cage and Count departments.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations pertaining to casino banking.
• Maintain strong controls to safeguard cash.
• Monitor cash needs to minimize amount of cash-on-hand.
• Develop and manage the departmental budget, including capital expenditure.
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure superior guest service and budgetary compliance.
• Ensure all Cage and Count department employees are providing optimum service to all guests.
• Interview, hire, develop, and evaluate department staff.
• Approve and administer disciplinary action as necessary.
• Review all departmental activity with Controller and Director of Finance.
• Utilize training and existing policies and procedures to make sound business decisions.
