• Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team at Locust Grove Elementary as a Grade 4 Teacher.

• Responsibilities * Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
• * Assess and evaluate student progress through formal and informal assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
• * Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect.
• * Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their learning experience.
• * Establish and maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
• * Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
• * Collaborate with other educators and staff to support school-wide initiatives and student programs.
• * Manage classroom behavior and implement strategies to promote a safe and productive learning environment.
• * Prepare and maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
• * Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required.
• Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; a valid teaching certification is preferred.
• * Previous teaching experience, particularly in elementary education, is highly desirable.
• * Strong knowledge of grade-level curriculum and instructional strategies.
• * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• * Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning.
• * Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• * Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs of students.
