• **Duties** * Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on product features, usage, and recommendations * Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions, cash handling, and cash drawer management with precision * Conduct product demos to showcase new or popular items, enhancing customer engagement and upselling opportunities * Maintain organized shelves through stocking, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure product availability and visual appeal * Assist with retail store product knowledge by staying informed about current trends, new arrivals, and promotional offers * Support supervising staff in daily operations, including training new team members on POS systems and customer service standards * Handle phone inquiries professionally following proper phone etiquette while providing prompt assistance or directing calls appropriately **Skills** * Proficiency with POS systems for smooth retail sales transactions and cash register operations * Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership capabilities in a retail environment * Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales calculations, discounts, and inventory counts * Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities to connect with diverse clientele * Bilingual skills are a plus for serving a broader customer base effectively * Experience in upselling products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction * Knowledge of retail store merchandising techniques to create attractive displays and optimize product placement * Familiarity with stock management procedures including stocking routines and inventory control * Exceptional phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and vendors * Basic math skills necessary for handling cash transactions confidently and accurately This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to thrive in a lively retail environment where your enthusiasm makes a difference.
