Remote Medical Director

About this role

• **Job Overview** As a Remote Medical Director, you'll guide clinical strategy and medical management while supporting safe, effective patient care across remote operations.
• You'll partner with clinical, research, and operational teams to strengthen quality, compliance, and care delivery.
• Your impact: By aligning utilization management with evidence-based standards, you help patients receive appropriate care and support consistent clinical decisions.
• **Duties** * Monthly chart review is not expected to exceed 2 hours per month * Provide medical leadership for patient care, clinical development, and medical management; advise teams on complex clinical matters.
• * Oversee utilization management, quality improvement, and compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations, and National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) standards, as applicable.
• * Contribute to teaching, academic leadership, and executive leadership initiatives as appropriate.
• * Periodic Telehealth may be required.
• **Qualifications** * Medical degree and active physician licensure required in the states of Ohio and Kentucky,; experience treating patients as a physician and post-residency experience expected.
• * Demonstrated medical leadership, management, supervising experience, and project management skills.
• * Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, hospital operations, and healthcare compliance.
• * Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) and EHR systems, including electronic health records management and medical records review.
• Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per month Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cincinnati, OH (Hamilton County)
