About this role

• **Job Summary** As a Licensed Veterinarian, you'll deliver thoughtful, evidence-based care for animals across preventive, diagnostic, and treatment needs.
• You'll assess patients, explain options clearly to clients, and collaborate with the care team to support safe, compassionate outcomes.
• Your work may include companion animal medicine and, where relevant to the practice, equine or exotic animal medicine.
• **Responsibilities** * Examine patients, take medical histories, and apply knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology to diagnose and treat illness or injury.
• * Provide veterinary internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, emergency medicine, and critical and intensive care as appropriate to your clinical scope.
• * Perform surgery, dentistry, and procedures involving general anesthesia, anesthesiology, catheterization, and aseptic technique.
• * Use animal restraint and handling practices, including dog handling; support animal care, husbandry, pet care, and grooming needs.
• * Order and interpret laboratory tests, maintain accurate records, and communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up guidance to clients.

• **Requirements** * Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the applicable jurisdiction; apply professional ethics and clinical ethical guidelines in daily decisions.
• * Veterinary experience and knowledge of veterinary terminology, internal medicine, surgery, and animal care.
• * Demonstrated ability to handle patients safely and use sound judgment in urgent or complex cases; veterinary critical care experience is valuable.
• * Preferred experience may include exotic animal medicine, equine care, laboratory work, veterinary dentistry, anesthesiology, or pet grooming.
• * Strong client communication skills and commitment to safe, respectful care for animals and clients.
• Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
